The use of Real-Time Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-qPCR) in pool testing is not new in molecular diagnostic; but of common use is the individual testing method. Also, there is nothing wrong with the individual testing approach in use by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
